Owning or leasing a Xerox copier/printer is a strategic decision that is sure to increase productivity and workflow in your office. However, if you’re having difficulty using all the features, it could impact your office productivity.

If you’re not used to using a multi-function printer (MFP) that allows you to print, scan, copy, and fax all in one place, you may have some questions. You could need assistance in changing trays or toners or even learning about the features and apps your Xerox machine provides.

Training is provided in copier purchases at the time of delivery or shortly after. However, you might find that you need additional training in the future or for other employees. We have three resources that can help guide you through your questions and MFP needs.

Leasing a copier is the best thing you could do for your business. Trying to make a desktop printer work for several employees, who are printing hundreds of papers per week, is ultimately going to cost more money than if you were to invest in a copier that fits your printing needs.

Buying a printer outright can be expensive just to give out in a couple of years. Leasing ensures you will always have a working copier and access to local technicians if the machine needs fixing.

We are going to go over some of the reasons why a copier could save your business. However, we are going to be honest. Leasing a copier can have some challenges too. We want to make you aware of the potential problems so you can make an educated purchase decision.

After you’ve gone through the process of picking out the perfect copier/printer for your business needs, you’ll need to know how to use it. Luckily, we make sure you are trained and ready to confidently use your new machine.

If included in the purchase, which it usually is, one of our service technicians will train you after they install the machine. You’ll learn about the features, machine parts, consumables and how to replace them, and who to call if you need future service or assistance with the machine.

While the service technician is there, take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions. We want you to feel comfortable operating the machine. After training, you’ll sign off on a form that states you were trained and are satisfied with the machine

Switching to an upgraded machine might be a smart decision for your specific business needs. Below are four ways trading in can end up saving you money and increase office productivity.
